NoHo CEL Software Requirements

NoHo CEL is designed to utilize minimal system requirements, so that it can be used on most computers without requiring hardware or software upgrades. If you can run Internet Explorer on your computer, then you can run NoHo CEL. It's that simple!

The following specifications are hardware configuration guidelines recommended by David Grant Incorporated (DGI) and should be used as a reference for technical support professional.

 
CEL Site Hosted by DGI

If you choose to have DGI host your CEL software, then you just need to have a high speed internet connection and a MS Windows-based PC with Internet Explorer installed. Since all Windows-based PC's come with Internet Explorer pre-installed, it doesn't get much simpler than that! And by choosing tho have DGI host your software, we will be responsible for installing software updates and securely backing up your data.

 
CEL Site Hosted Locally

If you choose to host your CEL software on your own file server, then you need to have the following:

File Server Specifications:

  • Pentium Processor

  • At least 256 MB RAM (Additional RAM improves performance)

  • At least 6.0 GB available hard drive space (RAID Disk Arrays Optional)

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2000, or 2003 (with appropriate licenses)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, 2000, or 2003 (with appropriate licenses)

  • DGI can provide a MSDE version of MS-SQL at no cost for clients with 8 or fewer users.

    • Workstation Specifications:

  • Pentium Processor

  • Windows NT, 95, 98, 2000, or XP

  • At least 64 MB RAM (128 MB or more preferred)

  • At least 1.0 GB available space

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0



    • All of the hardware and software requirements above are the minimum specifications. Newer and faster computers can improve system performance.
